Today, as is the case every year, the 29th September is ‘National Police Remembrance Day’. On this day we honour and remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice whilst serving in the protection and service of the community and those who have served but who are no longer amongst us.
At this mornings ‘National Police Remembrance Day Service' held at the ‘Victoria Police Memorial’, St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Young Adult Police Legatees Riley, Alana, and Kiera Wholohan laid the ‘Victoria Police Legacy’ (VPL) wreath along with VPL Chair - Acting Superintendent Kate O’Neill.
WE WILL REMEMBER - WE WILL REMEMBER - HASTEN THE DAWN
