The sun was shining yesterday for the conclusion of the Victoria Police Cycling Club (VPCC) 'Ride to the Wall' charity bike ride, now in its ninth year raising funds for Victoria Police Legacy. VPCC members and cyclists rode from Sale last Friday 22 September, and culminated 370 kms and 3 days later via Yarram and Warragul, at the Victoria Police Memorial in St Kilda Road. To mark the completion of the ride, a remembrance service and wreath laying ceremony was held yesterday, being Sunday 24th September, at the Victoria Police Memorial to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and those who have served and are no longer amongst us. Thank you to the VPCC and the cyclists for raising an outstanding $15,000, which brings the total to over $150,000 raised for Victoria Police Legacy since 'Ride to the Wall' commenced.
