What a fantastic day at the 36th Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk on Sunday, 13 April!
Our incredible Victoria Police Legacy team proudly took part, joining many others as they ran or walked around the iconic Albert Park Lake in honour of Angela Taylor. The event raised important funds for the Blue Ribbon Foundation while celebrating Angela’s memory in a truly meaningful way.
A special moment came when medallions were presented by Angela’s parents, Arthur and Marilyn Taylor, alongside VPL Ambassador Acting Chief Commissioner Rick Nugent APM, to the top performers across various categories and age groups.
A big congratulations to Ally and Leo, who each took out wins in their age categories!
We’re also sending a huge thank you to Friends of Police Legacy, Richard and Maria Twarowski from Major T Printing, for generously printing the VPL logo on our team shirts — and to Police Veteran Greg Jenkins for capturing the amazing group photo.
Well done to the organisers on delivering such a well-run and heartfelt event!
