A huge 'THANK YOU' to the Rutherglen RSL and Rutherglen Police for hosting this years ‘Victoria Police Legacy’ & ‘National Legacy’ Charity Golf Day which raised an outstanding $11,400 to be split between both charities.
VPL Community Engagement Coordinator Bob Raaymakers APM was joined by Rutherglen Police Station Commander Sergeant Mick Savage and VPL Ambassador Acting Inspector Nathan Ractliffe on Monday evening to receive the $5,700 cheque from Rutherglen RSL Golf Day Committee Chair Noel Hines and VPL Ambassador Retired Sergeant Brian Curran.
This annual charity golf day, held in March of each year, is a great local community event in support of those within the policing families who have lost a loved one. ‘THANK YOU’ to all those who played, and to and the organising committee in making the event such a success!
