National Police Remembrance Day (NPRD) – September 29 – is a special and solemn day – when we commemorate our colleagues and mates who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
With September 29 falling on a Sunday this year, the Melbourne NPRD march and service commemoration was held on Friday, 27 September 2024.
At the ‘Victoria Police Remembrance Service’ held at the Victoria Police Memorial, Victoria Police Legacy (VPL) Chair - Detective Inspector Kate O’Neill and Young Adult Police Legatee Charles Phan layed the Victoria Police Legacy Wreath.
