Young Police Legatees Liam Quick, Abbey Phillips and Anneliese Newton awarded the ‘Angela Taylor 41 Club Memorial Scholarship’
On Thursday 16th May the ‘XLI Club’ presented Young Police Legatees Liam Quick, Abbey Phillips and Anneliese Newton with the ‘Angela Taylor 41 Club Memorial Scholarship’, awarded annually to young Police Legatees who each receive $1,500.00 through the generosity of BankVic, to assist with educational costs.
Police Legatees enjoyed a Melbourne City Getaway to remember earlier this month, with fun and fellowship at the forefront. The four action packed days included a delicious Melbourne City Chocolate Walking Tour, Wicked the Musical at the Regent Theatre, tours of the Shrine of Remembrance and Victoria Barracks, a lunch at The Terrace at the Royal Botanic Gardens, dinners at Pepe’s Italian Restaurant and Cookie, and a Melbourne River Dinner Cruise to cap off the wonderful few days. It was wonderful to see the rekindling of old friendships, and the making of new ones.
We're two weeks into Run4Blue and it's great seeing so many of you out and about supporting Victoria Police Legacy! A huge 'THANKS' to the many VPL supporters, police legatees, VPL Volunteers and VPL Ambassadors who have signed up.
