Today marks 45 years of Victoria Police Legacy wrapping its arms around the children, partners and parents of our members. We have provided invaluable and unwavering support in times of hardship, providing emotional support, counselling, financial advice and assistance, education support and many other services. Importantly, Victoria Police Legacy creates a community of police legatees and keeps our families connected to Victoria Police throughout their lives.

On Thursday 30th January, Police Legatee and Police Veteran Chief Superintendent John Barclay was honoured to attend a Victoria Police graduation, hosted by VPL Ambassador Acting Senior Sergeant Gary Watson, and as special guest of VPL Patron, Chief Commissioner Shane Patton APM.

A big thank you to the Prior Family Foundation for their generous support in funding a third year of the VPL Prior Family Foundation Scholarship Program. This initiative supports ten frontline Victoria Police supervisors, selected by the Victoria Police Employee Networks, which represent culturally diverse and linguistically varied police communities.
